Picnic and AGMLA Live Steamers, Travel Town Saturday, April 19, 2008:

12:00 Noon on The Annual General Meeting is the time we elect the officers for the coming year. Come join us for a picnic and possibly get a ride on one of the trains! Located on the grounds of the Los Angeles Live Steamers (primarily a model train organization.) it is on 7.5 acres just to the east of Travel Town not far from the LA Zoo. A Day at the Barrett's At the home of Dene and Pat in Frazier Park, CA Saturday, May 17, 2008:

These two have made it to many of the club events so it's time we went up the hill to their place! Dene has quite a few Cits plus he is into live steam. Lunch will be pot luck from 11am to 1pm. Some participants may also want to check out the annual Lilac Festival at Pine Mountain Club while others may want to see Shin Yoshikawa's car collection, including an "H" Van at 212 Landfill Road, Lebec.

DIRECTIONS: From the South, take I-5 North past Gorman to Frazier Park exit. Turn left under the freeway and travel due West 3 miles to the flashing 4-way stop. Turn right on Monterey. Proceed one block. Turn right on Mt. Pinos Way. Travel 4 short blocks east to Fresno Trail. Turn right. House is on the right. Address: 613 Fresno Trail. DS A/C Clinic At the Home of Tony Dellosso, Agoura Hills, CA Saturday, June 21, 2008:

We will have a hands-on discussion of this system. We will be recharching A/C systems on one or more cars & will reassemble the Coolaire evap coil & vent assembly on a 72 DS. We will have available manifold guages for R-12 & R134, a vacuum pump & a UV light. If anyone has a gas sensor, please bring it. BYOB - od refrigerant. We may have an update on this later. There is also an open pit available for anyone wanting to change oil or do minor under vehicle repairs. Food, beer & soda will be served. If you wish you may want to bring wine and or your favourite pot luck dish.

DIRECTIONS : From L.A. - 101 to Cheseboro exit - Turn Right & proceed between 2 gas stations, around curves. Make 3rd right turn onto Fairview Ave. Make 1st left onto Foothill. In about 2/10 mile there are 2 private roads. Take the second road & enter the first driveway. From North - exit Cheseboro. Go straight up hill road will curve to left.
