March 25th – 27th Death Valley
Here’s one for the hard-core rider in all of us…this is a 3-day event where we can enjoy the amazing scenery of this part of California when we won’t die of heat! Meet on Saturday morning at Crazy Otto’s located at 1228 W Avenue I in Lancaster. Ride departs at 9AM sharp. The Atomic Inn in Beatty, NV is the club headquarters and hotel of choice where we will be staying Saturday & Sunday night, however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area.
April 22nd Kernville
This is a beautiful one-day ride leaving out of Kernville on Saturday morning through the Sequoia National Forest en route to Springville where we will stop for lunch at the Antlers Restaurant, returning to Kernville via the Sierra Foothills by late afternoon. Now that we’ve had so much rain, what a great way to welcome spring with an excellent combination of forest and grassland scenic back roads. The Riverview Lodge in Kernville is the club headquarters and hotel of choice where we will be staying Saturday night, however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area. The Kernville Inn is also a nice option. Ride departs at 9AM sharp from the Riverview Lodge parking lot.
May 21st The Bib Memorial Ride – Frazier Park
This is a great one-day ride through the beautiful region of Frazier Park and great way to honor our dear old friend Bill “Bib” Bibbiani…this was the last ride he led the Norton Club. Meet at Big John’s Mountain Grill located at 3121 Mount Pinos Way in Frazier Park. Come early for breakfast, kick tires, etc. Ride departs at 10AM sharp.
June 2nd - 4th Cambria

July 16th Wrightwood
Another beautiful one-day ride through the Angeles National Forest via Hwy 2 to Wrightwood for lunch. Meet at Lucky Baldwin’s Trappiste located at 1770 E Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. Ride departs at 9AM sharp.
August 12th Princess of Darkness – Night Ride
Charge up the batteries, you’ll need ‘em…this is our annual “night ride” over the Mulholland Hills to Bob’s Big Boy in Toluca Lake for a bite to eat. Meet at the Los Feliz Café located at 3207 Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles. Ride departs at 6:30PM sharp.
September 8th – 10th High Sierras
The best 3-day event of the Norton Club calendar of events (in my opinion…)…if you can only make one ride, make it this one. We gather in Mariposa on Friday afternoon, leave on Saturday morning for Bridgeport, and back into Mariposa by Sunday afternoon. The Miner’s Inn in Mariposa is the club headquarters for Friday night and the Walker River Lodge in Bridgeport for Saturday night, however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area. We’ll meet on Saturday morning at the Miner’s Inn parking lot located at 5181 Hwy 49 in Mariposa. Ride departs at 9AM sharp. Ride maps will be posted here soon, so please check back.
October 15th Temecula to Julian
Enjoy the fall foliage and cooler weather on this one-day ride as we head out of Old Town Temecula en route to the beloved pie town of Julian. Meet at the Swing Inn Café located at 28676 Old Town Front Street in Temecula. Ride departs at 9AM sharp.
November 5th 38th Annual Hansen Dam Ride Event
Clean up that Classic British motorcycle and get it ready for the road and attend the largest Classic Motorcycle event of the year in Southern California. We have a 75+ mile mapped out, feel free to come by as early as 8AM for coffee and donuts, after the ride we’ll have the grill fired up and will be serving lunch. Meet at Hansen Dam, enter on Dronfield (off Osborne) and turn right and left to the lower lot. Ride departs at 10AM sharp.
December 31st Run for the Roses
Our final ride of the year…always fun! Meet at Lucky Baldwins Trappiste located at 1770 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. We’ll ride up to Newcomb’s Ranch on Angeles Crest/Hwy 2. Return to Congregation Ale House located at 300S. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena. Ride Maps will be handed out prior to departure. Take your classic motorcycle out for the last day of the year and enjoy this fantastic ride in our backyard! Southern California Norton Owners Club 2017 ROSE RIDE PINS will be handed out to all riders! Ride departs at 10AM sharp.

The Norton club has never cancelled a ride due to a weather FORECAST. If, however, at the scheduled time of departure the folks who do show up for breakfast decide not to ride due to rain, snow or…, then the ride may be re-scheduled, most likely for the following week. Check the website or our Facebook page for the new date.
