January 21st     Winter Ride to the Murphy Auto Museum – Oxnard

Join us for our first ride of the year as we take a run up the coast and view a nice collection of vintage automobiles at the Murphy Auto Museum located at 2230 Statham Blvd in Oxnard. Lunch to follow at Money Pancho.

Meet at Café 50’s located at 11623 Santa Monica Boulevard, Los Angeles (just west of 405 freeway), maps will be handed out prior to departure. Ride departs at 9AM sharp.


February 25th     Ojai Pilgrimage

Enjoy the cool weather as we take the back roads out of Moorpark to Ojai. Meet at Cactus Patch Café located at 197 E High Street in Moorpark.  Ride departs at 10AM sharp.


March 24th – 26th     Death Valley

Here’s one for the hard-core rider in all of us…this is a 3-day event where we can enjoy the amazing scenery of this part of California when we won’t die of heat! Meet on Saturday morning at Crazy Otto’s located at 1228 W Avenue I in Lancaster. Ride departs at 9AM sharp. Furnace Creek Campground will be the club headquarters for Saturday and Sunday night, however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area.

April 21st – 22nd     Camping under the Stars in Kernville

May 20th      Frazier Park

This is a great one-day ride through the beautiful region of Frazier Park. Meet at Big John’s Mountain Grill located at 3121 Mount Pinos Way in Frazier Park. Come early for breakfast, kick tires, etc.  Ride departs at 10AM sharp.


June 1st – 3rd      Cambria

July 15th      Wrightwood

Another beautiful one-day ride through the Angeles National Forest via Hwy 2 to Wrightwood for lunch. Meet at Lucky Baldwin’s Trappiste located at 1770 E Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. Ride departs at 9AM sharp.


August 11th      Prince of Darkness – Night Ride

Charge up the batteries, you’ll need ‘em…this is our annual “night ride” over the Mulholland Hills to Bob’s Big Boy in Toluca Lake for a bite to eat. Meet at the Los Feliz Café located at 3207 Los Feliz Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Ride departs at 6:30PM sharp.


September 7th – 9th     High Sierras


The best 3-day event of the Norton Club calendar of events (in my opinion…)…if you can only make one ride, make it this one. We gather in Mariposa on Friday afternoon, leave on Saturday morning for Bridgeport, and back into Mariposa by Sunday afternoon. The Miner’s Inn in Mariposa is the club headquarters for Friday night and the Walker River Lodge in Bridgeport for Saturday night, however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area. We’ll meet on Saturday morning at the Miner’s Inn parking lot located at 5181 Hwy 49 in Mariposa. Ride departs at 9AM sharp. Ride maps will be posted here soon, so please check back.

October 7th – 13th     Southern Arizona Adventure

November 4th      39th Annual Hansen Dam Ride Event

Clean up that Classic British motorcycle and get it ready for the road and attend the largest Classic Motorcycle event of the year in Southern California. We have a 75+ mile mapped out, feel free to come by as early as 8AM for coffee and donuts, after the ride we’ll have the grill fired up and will be serving lunch. Meet at the lower lot of Hansen Dam on Dronfield (off Osborne). Ride departs at 10AM sharp.


December 31st      Run for the Roses

Our final ride of the year…always fun! Meet at Lucky Baldwins Trappiste located at 1770 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. We’ll ride up to Newcomb’s Ranch on Angeles Crest/Hwy 2.  Return to Congregation Ale House located at 300 S. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena.  Ride Maps will be handed out prior to departure.  Take your classic motorcycle out for the last day of the year and enjoy this fantastic ride in our backyard!  Southern California Norton Owners Club 2017 ROSE RIDE PINS will be handed out to all riders!

The Norton club has never cancelled a ride due to a weather FORECAST. If, however, at the scheduled time of departure the folks who do show up for breakfast decide not to ride due to rain, snow or…, then the ride may be re-scheduled, most likely for the following week.
