 June 2nd - 4th     Cambria to Carmel

This is a wonderful, scenic, ride through California’s Central Coast. We typically arrive in Cambria on Friday evening for dinner, drinks and some basic hooliganism. The Creekside Inn is the club headquarters located at 2618 Main Street in downtown Cambria, feel free to call Luis at 805. 927.4021 and mention you are with the Norton Club for a special rate.

Saturday morning we gather at the Redwood Cafe located at 2094 Main Street in Cambria for an early breakfast and hit the road at 9AM sharp. This is a day ride from Cambria to Carmel via rural country roads, lunch at the Running Iron, back to Cambria by dinner. Normally we ride back to Cambria via Hwy 1, however, due to road closures from this seasons rainfall, we will most likely come back on the same rural roads or some variation thereof.

For those interested in extending their weekend into a 3-day riding adventure…there is a Los Angeles constituent that will be riding up and back…if interested, please join us on Friday morning at the United Artists 8 Theaters parking lot located at 1919 Verdugo Boulevard in La Canada Flintridge. We’ll be at the Starbucks & Goldsteins Bagel section of the lot around 8AM, ready to hit the road by 9AM.

September 8th – 10th     High Sierras

The best 3-day event of the Norton Club calendar of events (in my opinion…)…if you can only make one ride, make it this one. We gather in Mariposa on Friday afternoon, leave on Saturday morning for Bridgeport, and back into Mariposa by Sunday afternoon. The Miner’s Inn in Mariposa is the club headquarters for Friday night and the Walker River Lodge in Bridgeport for Saturday night, however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area. We’ll meet on Saturday morning at the Miner’s Inn parking lot located at 5181 Hwy 49 in Mariposa. Ride departs at 9AM sharp. Ride maps will be posted here soon, so please check back.
