September 8th – 10th     High Sierra Ride

The best 3-day event of the Norton Club calendar of events (in my opinion…)…if you can only make one ride, make it this one. We gather in Mariposa on Friday afternoon, leave on Saturday morning for Bridgeport, and back into Mariposa by Sunday afternoon. The Miner’s Inn in Mariposa is the club headquarters for Friday night and the Walker River Lodge in Bridgeport for Saturday night, however, feel free to stay anywhere you like in the area. We’ll meet on Saturday morning at the Miner’s Inn parking lot located at 5181 Hwy 49 in Mariposa. Ride departs at 9AM sharp. Ride maps will be posted here soon, so please check back.

October 15th      Temecula to Julian

Enjoy the fall foliage and cooler weather on this one-day ride as we head out of Old Town Temecula en route to the beloved pie town of Julian. Meet at the Swing Inn Café located at 28676 Old Town Front Street in Temecula. Ride departs at 9AM sharp.

November 5th      38th Annual Hansen Dam Ride Event

Clean up that Classic British motorcycle and get it ready for the road and attend the largest Classic Motorcycle event of the year in Southern California. We have a 75+ mile mapped out, feel free to come by as early as 8AM for coffee and donuts, after the ride we’ll have the grill fired up and will be serving lunch. Meet at Hansen Dam, enter on Dronfield (off Osborne) and turn right and left to the lower lot. Ride departs at 10AM sharp.

December 31st      Run for the Roses

Our final ride of the year…always fun! Meet at Lucky Baldwins Trappiste located at 1770 East Colorado Boulevard in Pasadena. We’ll ride up to Newcomb’s Ranch on Angeles Crest/Hwy 2.  Return to Congregation Ale House located at 300S. Raymond Avenue in Pasadena.  Ride Maps will be handed out prior to departure.  Take your classic motorcycle out for the last day of the year and enjoy this fantastic ride in our backyard!  Southern California Norton Owners Club 2017 ROSE RIDE PINS will be handed out to all riders! Ride departs at 10AM sharp.

NOTE OUR WEATHER POLICY!

The Norton club has never cancelled a ride due to a weather FORECAST. If, however, at the scheduled time of departure the folks who do show up for breakfast decide not to ride due to rain, snow or…, then the ride may be re-scheduled, most likely for the following week. Check the website or our Facebook page for the new date.
